Brian's Hunt

In the book Brian's Hunt Brian finds a dog who has a scratch on the side of his belly. He finds where this dog comes from and finds out that it was the Cree indian tribe, which Brian was good friends with them. He also figured out that a bear killed the whole tribe of 8 people. So he went after the bear and kill it. Would you hunt down a bear if it killed your friends you barely knew?

    I would hunt down that bear. Even if I bearly knew them. I wouldn't go alone though, I would gather a party hunt just to be on the safe side.

    I would not go and try to kill a bear, even if it killed my family because it would be pointless. I’d definitely have a grizzly man moment and try to talk to the bear and be super sassy with it. “Oh mr Charles is grumpy today.” But overall I just don’t understand the revengeful kill even with humans. After you killed the bear what satisfaction would you get out of that? It doesn’t bring the people the bear killed back to life.

    If I had the right weapon to kill it, I would go after it. I would use the meat and the bear fur to help survive in the wilderness. It would be intense.

    No I would not go and kill a bear because it killed my friends. Clearly they weren’t thinking after one person was killed, what were the other seven doing? Sure I would feel remorse, but I would classify my friends as stupid if they couldn’t figure out how to run away. If I were to kill a bear because it killed humans, does that mean its ok for me to kill a person because they killed someone? That would be a no. It basically reflects on society today, and the beasts that man can be.

    I would never be able to go after a bear that killed all of my friends. I would be way to scared considering that it killed all my friends. I would just assume it would do the exact same thing to me as it did to all of my friends. I am not strong enough or educated enough about bears to even know how to go about killing on.
